Suspension systems

Vitelli Velobedarf offers three types of bicycle suspension systems: manual systems for multiple bicycles (movable) and the bike lift with pneumatic automatic mechanism. With the Hang-up and the Vitelli trolley, Vitelli also offers solutions for ceiling mounting.

Simple wall mounts are used for individual or small numbers of bicycles. The bicycle wall mount that can be folded away is particularly practical.

With the exception of the Al-Muro bicycle hook, all bicycle hanging systems are designed for indoor use.

Vitelli trolley – bicycle hanging system for ceilings and walls

This system allows several bicycles to be stored in a very space-saving manner, as the bicycles can be pushed into each other. The bicycle hooks, which vary in length, are attached to small trolleys that run in an aluminium profile rail. Stoppers on the left and right prevent them from falling out. The room height must be at least 230 cm. Four bicycles can be stored in a space only 1.5 m wide.

Dimensions for ceiling mounting: Profile rail length 150 cm, width 3.2 cm, height 3 cm, bicycle hooks short 15 cm, long 43 cm; Dimensions for wall mounting: 2–3 arms 33.5 cm and crossbar 150 cm.

Ceiling mounting: Aluminium profile rail (without pre-drilling) drilled into the ceiling. Screw the trolley together with spacer bushings and wall hooks and thread it in. Insert stoppers on the left and right.

Wall mounting: If the room is too high, wall mounting is recommended. Attach the brackets to the wall with dowels, then mount the crossbar and trolley rail.

Suspenso-Vario – the flexible bicycle hanging system

Unlike the trolley, the hooks on the Suspenso-Vario are fixed, with the spacing set during installation. However, the rails are flexible in width from 1 to 3 metres. This means that a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 bicycles can be accommodated. The room height must be at least 225 cm.

Ceiling mounting: Profile rail with ceiling supports (additional charge); the quality of the wall must be taken into account, especially if 7 bicycles are to be hung

Special features: Distance between bicycles 40 cm, distance from wall at least 1/2 handlebar width

HangUp bike lift – the manual bike pulley

The HangUp has two functions: it can be used to store your bicycle on the ceiling or as an alternative to a repair stand, as it is easier to work on and repair a bicycle when it is hanging. The bicycle is secured at the front and rear with fixed hooks and lifted using a pulley. It is attached to the bicycle using the flexible hook on the lift rope.

Dimensions: Rectangular tube length 98 cm

Installation (ceiling only): Install the rectangular tube parallel to the wall at a distance of 35 cm and with a wheel distance of 65 cm; drill holes 77 cm apart, see sketch

Special features: Installation materials included in the price, max. room height 4 m

Vitelli Bike-Lift - weightless supply of bikes and e-bikes

E-bikes can be positioned effortlessly on the wall using a gas pressure spring. The e-bike is hooked onto the lifting arm's hook and the spring is released. It floats up automatically and is steered into the runners with a little assistance. If space is very tight, the Bike-Lift can be turned sideways, e.g. to comply with the escape route width of 1.2 metres.

Dimensions: Height 153 cm, depth 17 cm, width 27 cm

Installation: On the wall with 4-6 screws each. Pay attention to the quality of the wall, mount support plate if necessary. If there are several bikes, offset by 65 and 90 cm from the floor. Distance to the wall at least 30-40 cm.

Special features: Minimum room height 210 cm (230 cm with 220 cm wheelbase). Fixing material not included in the scope of delivery. Standard gas springs are designed for a weight of 14 kg. We recommend springs from 22-31 kg for e-bikes. Please order the XL version for bikes with wide tyres.

AL-Muro and AL-Muro XL – the strong bicycle wall mounts

The positioning of the solid bicycle wall hook is flexible. It ranges from 40 cm to 80 cm with the rear wheel on the floor to vertical mounting at around 2 m, so that the bicycle hangs on the wall. With high and low mounting, several bicycles can be parked next to each other. The steel hook is plasticised to protect the rims.

Low mounting for heavy e-bikes.

Dimensions: Hook spacing 12.5 cm, tyre holder width 6 cm

Dimensions XL: Hook spacing 12.5 cm, tyre holder width 9 cm

Mounting: With 2 M6 x 40 mm screws, washers and dowels; distance to the side wall at least 35 cm

Special features: Mounting hardware is not included in the scope of delivery but can be ordered separately. Tip: High mounting: To prevent the wall from turning black, mount a plate or similar.

Bicycle wall mount – for expensive lightweight bikes

This fold-out wall mount is designed for lighter bikes weighing less than 20 kg. If you don't have anywhere to store your expensive sports equipment, you can hang it on the wall in a locked cellar or in your room. The plastic-coated hooks can accommodate top tubes up to 40 mm in diameter and can be folded up.

Dimensions: Folding tube ø 3 cm, width 28 cm, depth 33 cm

Installation: With 2 screws in wood, brick or concrete. Installation materials are not included. Load capacity up to 20 kg

Special features: Also available as a 45° wall-mounted bike rack. The angle of the hooks can be adjusted using the screw handle, allowing for optimal balancing and positioning up to an angle of 45°. Not suitable for heavy bikes and e-bikes.

Velo Store Rack2

This simple rack can be used to hang lightweight bikes with a straight top tube weighing up to 30 kg. The storage compartment has space for a helmet and other cycling accessories.

Installation: Using 2 screws on the left and right and wall plugs, installation materials included

Special features: The storage compartment can also be used for repair tools.
